  1. Our Atalanta finally came back to life for two short days. Lost ignition fire to one side. Anyone have a good source for ignition parts. Already contacted Sacramento Vintage, they only have V-8 parts. Any help would be appreciated.
  2. Got our car up and running. Small fuel leak at the Carburetor and it does'nt want to idle. Any places that I can find a carburetor rebuild kit and float. Also, going to be needing a Tachometer cable. This is driven from the back of the generator. I have the housing, just no inner drive cable. Any and all help greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  3. I thank you and I'm sure that my customer thanks you. I'll have to get a picture of the car before we release it back to the customer. It's not pretty...baby blue and blue. But it is in great shape for a hand built car. I anyone is needing help with Rover's and Jaguar's please contact us at Britishparts.com or MotorcarsLTD.com. Thank You, Dana Evans
  4. I am a Service Manager at an independent Jaguar/Land Rover repair facility. One of my valued customer's just purchased a 1939 Atalanta. These were British built vehicle's using the Lincoln V12 power plant. Not having any references on this vehicle, I am hands tied as to what I can do. My problem is that I wish to do at least the minor services to the vehicle. There is a 'float' for the crankcase level. I beleive it to be incorrect. We removed about 6 quarts of oil out of the engine. I read that we should refill it with 15-40 Rotella which I beleive is what was in it before. What is the capacity of the crankcase. I don't want to melt this engine. Also, before we removed the old oil, I noticed the engine oil pressure was at about 80psi. The vehicle only ran for about 1 minute. Any information on capacities and recommended fluids would be greatly appreciated by myself and the customer Note: 23 of these vehicles were ever made...only two are now known to exist with the V12.
