  1. Here I have 10 large round gaskets. Measures 3.875" OD x 4.375" ID x .1 thick.

Box is in the second picture.  Anyone have any idea what the application is,

and have any interest in them?

My local machine shop did not want to tackle my 1921 Olds V8. Hart’s was happy to take it on with it’s crazy split block, two main bearing design and fork and blade rods.

Has anyone tried to turn over the engine?

Yes, I did....  Definitely locked up.  Here's the thing.  If you are rebuilding an engine  like this,  and need a connecting rod,

or any unusual hardware, maybe the crank, or cam,, and I'm sure several misc. parts, this engine is well worth the money.

I've rebuilt hundreds of engines.  My specialty is unusual engines. I have 2 1936 Chrysler Airstreams.  This car had a one model year engine only.  The spare engines I picked up were worth there weight in gold.

See the engine I just finished:

In my opinion these terms are useless and are there to make the seller look like they have something to say.   All I really get out of the use of this word is "old" .     The word "restored" is driving me nuts these days.   People using this terms completely out of place in sales adds today....    Restored.....  go look at it , and some idiot stuffed a chevy v8 in it!.....

No motor, no transmission in the car, but we  are fairly sure we have them.

They will need a completely rebuild.  Interior was eaten by raccoons.

Doors, trunk, close like new.   Keys are in ignition. Title in hand. Roller.

Car is very complete, jack, several spare rims, trunk wheel well is intact, all glass is usable.

Located in PGH. PA.    looking for reasonable offers.

    1955 Olds 98 4DR SDN

    No motor or Trans.

    Raccoons ate the interior

Other than the above , a very complete car. Even has keys in the ignition.

Title in hand,  Its a roller, located in PGh. PA

Update:   We spent some time clean up big stuff..  We were surprised the trunk spare tire well  is still there.... Floors looks good, so far. We did not put it up on a lift but from what we can see on the ground the frame looks good.  All the doors close like new. the trunk latch works smooth.

This is going to be a driver, if not more, for someone... My bet is the first person to come look at this is going to buy it...

    Hi All,

By way of a quick update, the new exhaust collector I had made arrived yesterday!  I am going to sand blast it today, clean it up, paint it, and put it on!   I will repair the original part again and put it on the shelf as a spare.  I am a bit worried that with all the heat cycles, the cast iron is as brittle as can be, so the original part may never be installed again.

While!     That took some work...  So, what about the heat riser valve?

By the way, how's the body work coming along?
