  1. I've been looking for decent wiring diagrams to cover Chrysler LeBaron convertibles from '89 to '95, both four and six cylinder engines. I have a Chilton's, but the diagrams are stuffed two or more to a page (really hard reading) and I can't find one that even shows head and tail lights! I'm replacing the nose on the '95 with one from an '88 to get the concealed headlight configuration and would like to know about wiring in the headlight door motor to the switch on the '95. Also, would appreciate any help with info on the TC Maserati Chrysler convertible, i.e., same body, trim, running gear, interior, etc. I assume hood badge and interior trim would state Maserati, but I'd like to make sure I know what I'm looking at should I come across one-and, what are the odds of that?
  2. This '47 62 series four door is in need of serious restoration. Missing rear bumper, not currently running (expect it will, soon as I can get a favorable day; sitting outdoors!). Car needs everything, but does have potential, mostly the fact that it is a '47 and, therefore, worth bringing back. I see it as mostly a DIYer, because it's very easy to tie a lot of money into a car and exceed it's fair market value. Hate to see it wasted, hate to see it outside! My price is $600.00 which I feel the running gear alone is worth. Thanks for your interest. Norm Ellis,603-335-4624.
  3. Hi; would like to find source for, hopefully, sharp and clear wiring diagrams for '89 thru '95 Chrysler LeBaron convertibles. Body/shop manuals would be nice, also. For some reason, I can't seem to find this info and, in the process of trying to correct other peoples' radio and accessory butchery, I'd like to be able to make some sense of it all, particularly on the '89, where it's all computerized. Appreciate any advice, thanks. Norm Ellis
  4. Ted: Thanks for your reply-I pretty much suspected as such, I just like the looks of the sedans with concealed headlights better.
  5. Ron: Appreciate your inquiry, but I'm not sure you'd want to come all the way out to Rochester, N.H. to pick up a car that's in rough shape when when I'm sure you can find a better one, closer. I'd really like to sell it (price is now $600.00), but I don't want to waste anyone's time. As I've stated, this is a severe project-if it wasn't a Caddy, I would'nt even bother with it. Thanks, and you and yours have a MERRY CHRISTMAS! Norm Ellis.
  6. I've tried several times, several places to find out if Chrysler made a 5th Avenue (New Yorker) convertible (with concealed headlights) in '89-'91 era. I'm not talking about the LeBarons; I have two of them and the thier faces are not the same as the 5th Avenue sedans. For some reason, nobody seems to know or they just don't want to be bothered. So much for this source. Norm Ellis
  7. I'm trying to find out if Chrysler made a convertible 5th Avenue (New Yorker?) in the '89-'92 era with the concealed headlights. These cars seem to have different front end treatment than the LeBaron convertibles (which I have, but prefer the style of the 5th Avenues and New Yorkers). I have an '89 covertible also with the four cylinder and would be open to suggestions as to how I can make this little engine be dependable and last for a few years of gentle country driving-we know the reputation they have for "blowing up". Any help would certainly be appreciated. Thanks, Norm Ellis. <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
  8. I'm trying again to find out if Chrysler made a 5th Avenue convertible in '89-'92 era with the hidden headlight feature. Would they have had the six cylinder in thoses years? Lastly, is the proper wheel size for the '95 LeBaron convertible 14" or l5"?. Thanks, Conman (got to change that name).
  9. I have 1947 Series 62 four door sedan that is a serious restoration project. Not currently running, but, I'm assured that it will(!?). I'm only asking $750.00 for the car, but it IS a '47. Rear bumper is missing. I have no space (or funds) for this project and it must go. Thanks, Norm Ellis.
  10. Interested in knowing if Chrysler made a 5th Avenue (New Yorker?) convertible in '91-'92 era with the hidden headlamps (preferably, with the six cylinder). All I seem to see are the LeBarons, which have a somewhat different face profile than the 5th Avenue sedans.
