Hi! I'm from Cali - Colombia - South America. We're working on the restoration process (with my father) of an ESSEX (that he got from my grandpa) and, now when i do the research job, i've been found that the model number from the legal papers (and from the everyone's memory) it's wrong. Under the hood, the number is <span style="font-weight: bold">160499</span> like you can see on this photo: http://www.laneros.com/~metro/essex_serial_number.jpg On the papers says 1922. On this page says 1924. On others pages says 1926.
