  1. I'm installing a new master cylinder on my 69' Firebird with factory power disc brakes. I've had different advise on how to bleed the master cylinder. Some guys say "just install it and follow normal bleeding proceedures. Others say I got to "bench Bleed" it first. Any help on this subject is appreciated.
  2. Thanks Joe I wired my choke using the oil pressure switch as suggested. Choke works perfectly with no needed adjustments. Kudos to Edelbrock for making a fine Carb. Now all I need to do is fiqure out the vacum signal my distributor needs. Before I took the Rochester 4GC off, I unplugged the vacum advance hose and put my finger over the port while it was idling. I did notice a little vacum but not significant. Still trying to figure out ported or manifold vacum.
  3. I swapped out my Rochester 4GC Carb for an Edelbrock 1406 with electric choke on my 65' 442. I have two questions, Does my vacum advance on my distributor need ported or manifold vacum? The Edelbrock has two ports on the front. Also where is a good place to wire my electric choke, The instruction manual says to use any ignition switch activated circuit, but warns against using the positive side of the coil. Any suggestions?
  4. I'm looking for a dash clock working or not for a 1965 442.
