  1. Hi there We have a 1926 Essex 2nd series just in the throws of restoration. I am trying to locate some ignition spares if anyone can help please. The details i have are as follows.... Distributor cap MC 65937 Rotor arm lorimier B050 She is a 6 cyl original chassis no 482163, Im assuming from the details i have the system is Bosch based.   2. Hello all We bought the car finally... A 1926 Essex Sedan. Shes a beauty. I am asking to see if anyone has copies of the handbook and/or illustrated parts list for this model. There seem to be many other models around her but not including her. Can anyone help please? Many thanks Julie

  4. I am about to acquire a 1926 Essex Sedan 2nd series all steel model and was wondering if anyone knows of any others that have been or are being restored or already up and on the road? If you have one can you please post some pictures or please email them to me at juliebuffy@btinternet.com so we can use them for reference please. Also can anyone give me information on restoring and rebuilding the roof? It appears to be wood with a leatherete type covering but we no longer have the shape for the peak over the top of the front windscreen! Many thanks Julie
  5. Hello again I have the chassis or vehicle number it is: 482163 Can anyone help with identifing this model please or anything of its history. I believe from what i have found it is a second series sedan all steel 5 pass coach! Many thanks Julie
  6. Hello Im looking for anyone that may know which Essex this is ie: sedan, coach etc, so many variations? It was imported into the uk from New Zealand 3 years ago and we recently found it in a friends field, tucked away. We are looking at restoring it to her former glory. I cannot access the plate number on it at present and I dont have to paperwork in my possesion but would appreciate any help from you all please. Warmest wishes Julie UK
