JD, thank you for your advice; I will follow it explicitly!!! Since I am not a skilled mechanic by any means, do you have any idea of what a complete engine overhaul would cost? This car has not ran well since Premium Leaded aka Ethyl gasoline became extinct a long time ago. It would be nice if this engine could be rebuilt to accept the modern day fuels...is that even possible? Again, I thank you for your help!!!

Hello! I have a 1966 Pontiac Catalina Station Wagon that has been in my family since the day my grandfather drove it home from the local dealership. It has about 130,000 miles and has been sitting idle for several years. Any suggestions on how to get this sleeping beauty back in running condition will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so very much. Oh yes, the car was used as an ambulance and service vehicle in the family funeral home!
