  1. I'm looking for some help here. I have an Olds Rocket v8 motor with a Hydramatic transmission. I was told from the guy I bought the car from that it was a 324 CI. But the issue is that I have a Olds factory Tri-Power (with rochester carbs) sitting on top, which would make it a 371 ci. The following cast numbers are: Number on the rear of Block - 568929 Number on the Intake - 571145 Number on Block just in front of left rear cylinder - A377506 I was told that the factory Tri-Power will not fit on a 324 ci. Can anyone out there positively Identify this motor for me with the information provided? Thank you.
  2. I have what appears to be a 371 ci Rocket V* with factory Tri-Power intake and triple Rochester carbs (some missing stock linkage though). The motor also has a Jetaway Hyramatic tranny. What is a setup like thi worth and is there any interest out there? The motor and tranny run and have been well maintained. The motor case number is: 568929, the intake number is: 571145, the head number is: A477599. The motor is painted red and sitting in a 1932 Ford right now. Am contemplating removing it and replacing it. See attached pic. I can send more pis if interested.
  3. I am building a Rocket Powered 1932 Ford and have a question about my motor. I was told I have a 1956 Olds 324 ci motor. Sitting on top is an original tri-power set up with Rochester carbs. My question is how do I know exactly what year my motor is so I can order the correct parts for it? Is there some type of identification on it? I have read that the tri-power was available on 1957 motors. Do I have a 1956 or 57............or some other year? Thank you in advance.
