alternator/power steering supporting bracket color

Just was wondering if anyone knew what the orginal color of the alternator/power steering pump supporting bracket are? I'm doing a weekend job that stretched into a week job. 1971 Cutlass Supreme convertible, rocket 350. thanks for any help. J Mcleod -

I looked and the numbers are: 1100704 37A 9M 3 12VNEG I also found another that came with the car. Those numbers are: 1100834 37A 9C21 12VNEG I'm going through a restoration and would like to keep the car very close to original. Thanks.

This may be a stupid question, but how do you know that the current alternator, in your car, is the original?
