First time post to this great forum. Hope you can help. Considering purchase of a restored 1940 coupe. Do not beleive it has gone through judging. NADA collector quide online shows high retail value at $21K with premium paid for original ownership documentation. Not having attended Hershey or similar events I am not sure of values. Are there better online source that can confirm recent transaction values. Your thoughts regarding present market for well restored #1 or #2 car would be appreciated. Also - is there a price differential for exact car but a 1939 ? Thanks in advance for your guidence on this issue.
