Dear Mr. Grot, It would sure be nice to find another Selve car somewhere. So far it does not look good. The German Selve Museum in Hameln heard about a surviving Selecta in the USA. Since I live here I am going to try finding out more about it. Regards, Ralf Weiser

I am desperate as I appear to be chasing a ghost in the USA. I live and work in the US, but I was born and raised in Germany. My grandfather worked for the German car manufacturer Selve Automobilwerke in Hameln Germany. Two main vehicles were made there prior to WWII. I know from Selve club members that cars were exported to the U.S.A. during that time. Where and whom can I possibly ask where to find such a car that may be for sale, part of a collection, or simply part of a museum? There appears to be no database or expert around that I could ask. Thus I am writing to you in hope you can steer me into that direction. Thank you in advance for your consideration, and any help that you can offer to me.
