Actually, when I put both answers together, it makes sense since the passenger side is fixed and the driver's side is adjustable. I have the seat bottom cushions out down to the frame, but got stuck when I couldn't find any attachments for the back. The metal strip across the top seemed to be the next step, but I couldn't figure out how to get it off. How do I remove that metal strip? (It was fabric covered at one time, but not now.) The entire interior needs to be re-upholstered. Thanks, Linda

There is no tool box. The driver's seat is adjustable, but the passenger seat is fixed. I need to remove the seat back and the full seat frame. Thanks!

How do I remove the back of the front seat from a 32 Model 901 sedan? Does that top metal strip have to come off first? Any help appreciated! Thanks, Linda
