We have done a number of them never had any problems have a 49 Pont that was converted to 8volt worked all right but keep blowing taillights I ended up buying the car an finished converting it to 12v no more blown bulbs I put a voltage reducer on the guages a resister on the ignition coil change the heater blower leave the starter install a GM internal regelated alt and put a 40 to 60 amp maxey fuse in line to protect every thing although the 6v wiring is heaver than the newer 12v I,ve always felt safer on other peoples autos unhook the radio an put a late stero in the glove box my customers have always been tickled

I need a tool to pull the wheel on a 1930 Plymouth so I can rebuild the brakes on the rear
