Where can I get a resistor for a 90 Reatta and how much? How does the resistor by-pass the Pass key ignition? Is the resistor hard to replace? Does have to done by a mech.?

Is there a way to by pass this "pass key" or to shut it off for good? Do you have to get a new key with a new ignition? If I have to get a new key and ignition, how much are we talking for parts ans labor? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks Marc

Hello, Any info would be appreciated on this 90 Reatta. When driving over bumpy roads there is a loud bang coming from the rear passenger side of the car. Sounds like the shock/strut bottoming out. If I push up and down on the back of the car it seems the shock/strut are working fine. The car goes up and down nice and smooth. I was told by a friend it could be the strut or the "knuckle". He doesn't own a Reatta, so I figure to ask the experts. Thanks for any info. Marc

I'm having some over heating problems. I want to replace the thermostat. Is the thermostat located at the end of the hose at the engine, coming from the radiator? I only see one bolt on the cap where the hose connects to the engine. Is the thermostat easy to replace on a 1990 Reatta with the 3800 engine? It could be the fan is not working properly, but I still want to replace the thermostat to see if this is the problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

On the 1990 Reatta, does the rear brake caliber get push in by a c-clamp or is it twisted or turned on the caliber head to get it to fully closed position? The rear caliber has four slotted spots on the caliber head. They look as thought it might have to be turned to get it to the fully closed position.

I don't have the owner's manual with a newly purchased 1990 Reatta. How many quarts of oil to change oil and oil filter with 3800 engine? Also what type of oil is best 10-30, 10-40, etc.?

I need the seal for the gas tank where the sending unit goes. Also need gas tank straps. Looking for new parts.

I recently purchased a 1990 Reatta. I've check the fuse box and all fuses are good but the eletric door locks, mirrors, cruise control, and rear defrost are not working. Is there a special fuse for these? Any info or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks
