I am helping a friend with a condensing Stanley that needs a speedometer gear to attach to the inside of the right front wheel. Here is the broken gear.
The inscripotion "80 T 10 P" probalby means 80 teeth and 10 pitch. The gear is 8" in diameter and about 3/8" thick. It has five holes for the screws or bolts to attach it to the wheel.
Does anyone have one or know where one might be found?

I have a 1924 Stanley Model 750 Touring Car for sale. It campaigned in 2007 but not 2008. Was at Ormond Beach in 2006. A 1960s restoration, former Idaho museum car. Ready to tour.

I'm looking for a spare tire lock for 1924 - 1925 Stanleys. They are not specific to Stanleys and were almost certainly used on other cars.
The pictures show the casing and a long shot of the rear of the car that needs the lock.
Any help greatly appreciated.

Here are a couple of pictures of the maker's logo on the wheel puller for my 1925 Stanley. It also appears on the axel.
Can anyone identify the maker? It looks close to the Armstrong Tool Company, but not quite.

For Sale Free! Hudson/Essex frame - front half. The rear half is supposed to be a Dodge of some sort. No springs, no rear end, no axels, just the frame and it is free, FOB Dallas.

Dear All:
I am looking for this valve for The BettyAnne, my 1925 Stanley Model SV 252G.
It is the pilot fuel valve and is located on the bottom of the pilot fuel tank at the rear of the car. Any help out there?
This is the correct handle for the Steam Vehicle Corporation Cars, 1924 Model 750s and 1925 Model SV 252s, I do have a spare handle, so what I really need is the valve body.

Is anyone coming from the east coast to the Dallas area? I have four Stanley Steamer wire wheels that need to come from Huburt, NC 28539 to Dallas, TX.
Any help would be appreciated. They could go to Baltimore, MD as well.

Is anyone going from Dallas, TX to Southern Michigan - Berrien Springs 49103? This is in southern Michigan, not far north of South Bend, IN. Anywhere close would be a great help.

I’m looking for a large flare nut, similar to the smaller ones Art Hart has on his web site.
This brass nut – see picture- has 18 TPI and measures .615” ID. Across the flats it measures .875” and is .750” tall. The male fitting threads are about .775” - .780” OD.
My local hardware store (which is VERY GOOD!) does not have anything in this diameter or thread count at all.
Any idea where these can be found?

For Sale: 1924 Stanley Steamer, Model 750, Seven Passenger Touring Car. This car toured in 2007 but not in 2008. It is a very nice looking late model Stanley. Made by the Steam Vehicle Corporation of America.
The pilot has been converted to gas, but the burner is conventional kerosene. Pilot parts included for easy conversion back to liquid fuel.
New California Top and Side Curtains. Original leather seats in very nice shap. Very good tires. This car is ready to tour. Would look great at the 2009 Steam Tour in Estes Park, CO.

For Sale: Hudson Frame, ca: 1923 and five disk wheels. This frame had a Stanley Body and a Stanley style rear end, apparently a WW II effort to produce a kerosene buring vehicle.
The Better Half says to get it out of the driveway. The rear end does not come with it. The front part of the frame is Hudson and the rear part may be Dodge.
Anyway, don't delay or it will go to the scrap yard.

I am beginning the interior restoration of my 1925 Stanley Steamer and am looking for the correct upholstery. The sales catalogue describes it as VELMO.
Could someone educate me on VELMO? Is it a trade name for some conventional fabric?

If anyone else needs these, I'll have to buy 12 to make the order.
Has anyone reproduced these already? I talked with Pulfer & Williams and Hershey last week and they have not done them.
