  1. I bought a 1949 ford 2 door sedan flat head V8 and found out that the right motor mount is gone, bracket and all. I have checked all the local parts store with no luck finding one. Where would be a good place to find a set? I thought about getting a set for a newer model that is about the same size and re-drilling the holes if I have to to make it fit. Any suggestions? Thanks,
  2. I am starting to look for random parts for a 1949 Ford 2 door sedan. Can anyone tell me if things like the trunk hinges, trunk latch, front bumper, etc. are the same on the Coupe and the 2 door Sedan of the same year model? Thanks for any help,

  4. Will you be my uncle? I love ya, man haha From what I understand, it is driveable. Where can I go to get the clasification definitions, ie #1, #4 - driveable, etc. Like I said, I know nothing. Thanks
  5. I am new to this board, so I hope I obey the rules. I have an uncle that is leaving the state and wants to sell my dad and I his 1949 Ford Coupe. He bought it new, and it has not spent many nights outside. It has light hail damage on it. It has been in the Texas Panhandle it's whole life (very dry climate ) so I'm guessing it has very little rust on it. My dad is going to go by and look at it this weekend and see what he thinks about it. It is all original parts from what I understand. Can anyone give me a ballpark range of what this car may be worth? I know there is lots of variables but if someone could tell me what I need to look for, such as what engine does it have and which one is prefered, etc. I am antique car illiterate. Please help!!
