  1. Update: Car wouldn't start today. Battery was only showing 11.88 volts. Alternator obvisouly wasn't charging the battery. With my electrical expertise, I wiggled some wires clumped together on the firewall. Bingo, battery is now at 13.01 volts. Starts everytime now and turn signals work like a charm. One draw back though...the GEN indicator light stays on now. Hmmm. Time for a true professinal to look at.
  2. Interesting. I will look there. I know there is a ground wire in the trunk. Thanks for giving me another lead to follow.
  3. No luck, I checked the ground wire (it's okay) and replaced the flasher unit. Still does the same thing. I appreciate your help and suggestions. I'll stay at it and let you all know what it was.
  4. Thanks for replying. I'm not much of an electrician, but I will do my best. I'll probably have to take it to a repair center and pay the big bucks. I have back tracked anything I may have touched and put it back right. No luck so far.
  5. Developed a turn signal problem shortly after replacing the battery. Blnkers work slowly (but they do blink). However, when the headlights are turned on the signals do not blink. They just come on (no blink). Does anyone have a clue to what could be the culprit? I'm stumped
