On Sept. 5, 2021 a 5 alarm fire destroyed the 8000 sq.ft. woodworking shop along with 10 vintage woodies, all the specialized machines, patterns, templates, etc. Mike had accumulated in the 50 years, restoring over 100 woodies. Mike was especially fond of the early Ford Woodies and had restored dozens of them and sold his wood kits at his Hershey spot.   3. I can't answer your question on the length of the car and truck columns. I do want to mention that Chrysler had several brackets available that attaches the column to the underside of the dash panel. These brackets were different lengths so the column (and therefore steering wheel) could be be positioned for a specific driver. You may have a long bracket. I believe I've seen about four lenghts of these.
  4. I have a professionally rebuilt 1950 Spitfire engine that has not been started. It came in my '46 Chrysler, but I wanted the correct engine. I am not close to you but do you ever come to any of the major USA swap meets like Hershey? I don't make it up your way very often so that won't help.
  5. My daughter is still looking for a pair of decent bumper face bars (chrome bars) for our '36 airflow. These bumpers are smooth with no grooves. Help!!!
