if your intake manifold casting reads 18736542, begin at the front screw and begin with #1 proceeding counter clockwise in that order. cylinders are 1,3,5,7 on left (drivers) bank & 2,4,6,8 on right bank. I do have a detailed picture if you need it. It would not save to the posting. Contact me if you would like it.

try black antifreeze or oil bottle plastic from gallon or quart jug. Hope this helps.

I am trying to restore my olds to the original condition. I am having difficulty in finding an exact replacement "jacking instructions" sticker located on the inside upper trunk lid. This sticker has been reproduced similar but not exact to the original. Font is not the same. Also, the corners of the sticker have been rounded more on original. My car is a late production 68 built in MI. Any help? Also, many resources say that the GM mark of excellence aluminum sticker should only be on the drivers door jamb. My left door jamb is full of original type paper stickers with tire pressure, opt wheel sizes, etc. and no alum. tag. My alum. tag is on the passenger door by itself. The car has original paint.
