  1. I've got an 89 Riviera. The trouble is it is throwing a whole bunch of random codes at me suddenly. I was wondering if you guys thought maybe it was the ECM? The codes are as follows: E034 = MAP sensor, E039 = TCC, E041 = No Cam Signal, B120 = Twilight Sentinel, B448 = Low A/C Refrigerant... Any help would be appreciated. It's actually my dad's car, I'm away at college and I've got him on the phone.... My only hope is that some of those are history codes... Thanks...
  2. I don't have a Reatta. But, I've got an 89 Riviera. The most interesting race I've had was with a 97 (approximately) Mustang. It was a v-6, I know that because I beat it. It also had a manual trans. I won by a fair margin... He couldn't drive and there was about six people in it... But it was fun to see the embarassed look on his face when he got beat by a Granny-Mobile. I even got the car from my grandmother.

    Gas Door

    My gas door on my 89 Riviera contains the only rust on my car. It's becoming quite the eye sore, I cringe every time I go out to my car. My car is pearl white, if anyone has an idea where I could find one that's the right color that I could just rivet on I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks -Dan
  4. I have a 1989 Riviera. I read the post "supercharging revisited." With all this talk of swapping the top ends I was wondering something. Can you take a supercharged engine and trans. combo out of say, a 1995 Riviera and just swap the whole drivetrain? I'm sure you've gone over this many times, but any input would be appreciated. Also, is it possible to swap the 4.5 liter 8 cylinder and trans. from a cadillac into a Rivera? You see, my girlfriend has one, it runs and drives great, but it's got some huge electrical ghosts, and would make a great donor vehicle. I'm sure it sounds like a couple of stupid questions to some... But I always say, the only stupid question is the one left unasked. Thanks -Dan
