  1. I need a set (both sides) of parking lights for a 46 ford. Must be complete and no rust holes. Have a set of 47-48 that I would trade. Have other parts to trade also.
  2. I think shipping would be too much for me. Thanks anyway.
  3. Need to know where you are? Might be interested if shipping isn't a killer.
  4. Olds never made a 430. You are thinking Buick.
  5. 64 thru 67 330's thru 425's. After 67 the crank flange bolt pattern changed.
  6. Be nice to know where you are located.
  7. I don't think I would want the tires. Let think about this for awhile. I'm in Dallas TX area and might be able to find some around here if I look and put out feelers. If I remember correctly from my last T, these wheel and hub assemblies probably weigh about 10 to 15 lbs each. I will check on how much to ship them here.
  8. Don't need the drums. Where are you located? and how much?
  9. Looking for a set of 21" wood spoke Model T wheels. Must be good enough to be road worthy. Need the rims with them. Might take 30 X 3 1/2 clincher wheels. For a non-ford homebuild project.
  10. Be nice to know where the car is located and what body style is it?
  11. I would think the Columbia rear would be the most valuable part of the car. Unless it is in very restorable shape, it would make a good parts car.
  12. Can anyone tell me what a 99A frame came from? I thought it was for a 42-48 Ford, but now I'm not so sure. Could it be Mercury? Also what would the track width be for this frame?
  13. It is almost impossible to tell if this car has been cloned. the only sure fire way is by factory or dealer documentation. Does it have the protect-o-plate? Window sticker? Maybe an original build sheet? Other than that, all parts can be added to make it appear to be real.
  14. Really gotten into Bufords since I bought a new Lucerne, I could be interested if location and price is right.
  15. 65 only year and 4-door sedans are the only ones with compatible deck lids.
  16. Sorry for the late reply but I have been on vacation. The pics you linked to are not my car but it is just like that one. that car is owned by Mike Kulp and is the one on the OCA poster depicting Olds 442's through the years. Mine has different wheels than Mike's, I have the N78 wheels that look like the 79 Hurst Olds wheels but are painted grey, not gold. Still haven't found out about the number of these cars produced with 4-speed.
  17. Leo, I too, am a fan of the Salon Slopebacks. I have a 78 442 with factory four speed, corporate 305 engine, black and gold, with N78 wheels (grey ones), bucket seats, power locks, Limited slip rear, AC, and some other options. I love my car. It seems to be a lot quieter than its notchback cousins. I have people ask me about the "hatchback" and I have to explain to them its not a hatchback. I can't prove any numbers, but have heard that there were less than fifty built with the 442 option and 4-speed transmission combination. Maybe Steve can put this rumor to rest.
  18. The thermometer is loose in mine. I do not know what material is used to secure the glass into the body. As far as shaking down the fluid, I've tried every thing I can think of to get the fluid back down. Even put into boiling water and then froze it. Nothing has worked. Thought there might be a repair kit available with a new thermometer.
  19. Is there any way to replace the thermometer in a Boyce Midget model? Also need one glass, one ring, and the temperature plate.
  20. I had a 46 Dodge coupe and I used a set of 15" steel wheels off of a Dodge Challenger. I think the Challenger was a 70, but those wheels and a set of Michelin radials made for a great ride with the stock suspension.
  21. Throw the top over the frame out in the hot sun before you start tacking anything down. This will relax the vinyl to get a smoother installation. Other than that, you might be able to get some instructions from vendors that sell convertible tops.
  22. Has Fusick sold any of these for $200, or is this their asking price?
  23. I have three just like them I bought for $20. Where are you located? I would be interested in getting them so I would have a full set. I think they are 67 style only.
