my dad had three of them back in the day, he got them for $25 each, he used parts from all three to make one good one. he used it to comute from new york to ohio, he bought another car and never got back to bringing it back to new york, and its been sitting there ever since, he said he put it in there because there was something wrong with the brakes, i forget what it was

i just got a 1948 plymouth, its in my uncles barn in ohio. its been sitting in there for about 30 years, but its in relatively good condition, hasnt been sitting in the rain or anything. anyway im heading from new york to ohio in a few weeks and im going to try to get it running. what would you guys reccomend my change to get it running? i was thinking all new spark plugs, new battery, new brake lines and drum pads, all new fuel lines, and some other stuff i can't remember now. also do you guys know any good websites to get parts from? Thanks
