  1. Try ebay for the intake..From time to time someone lists some odd ball intakes such as a four two bbl setup, along with the usual tri power and dual quad setups for the 303 - 324 Olds. Remember some things do swap over to the 324 you have ( assuming its the original block ) Good luck
  2. I had a brake boost setup rebuilt by that Ed Strain guy and was EXTREMELY impressed..I sent him a unit off a '57 and eventually a '59 and was a very quick turnaround and wouldnt take it elsewhere to have it rebuilt! I found him in Hemmings
  3. I was reading a '59 issue of Hot Rod where they fuel injected an Edsel and it got me thinking..Did anyone ever make speed parts just for the Edsels? Or did you have to find something else that interchanged? Not much of a Ford guy, but it got me thinking about a possible engine swap I may do... Thanks

God forbid you want hardened seats. Around here it is $25 a seat to machine it and replace it.. Oh yeah, multiply that by 16. I've done 3 394's and it was no less than $3500 each by the time I was done. And that was me buiding it up by myself. I hate Chevy motors, but you can get 3 delivered to your house for the price of a 394 build up
  5. I saw a NOS driver or passenger side door panel at the OCA meet in Parsippany in 2001..$ 600 though....imagine if you got the entire set NOS...You would have to sell your kids and donate your blood and still owe a copule thousand dollars to purchase the set!!!
  6. Hey. I am dire need of fast info. Can you bolt up a 1959 Hydramatic in place of the Slim Jim transmission? ('62) Engines are both the 394 Olds..Thanks for your input and help
