  1. Hi Guys, I need some advice. I live in Virginia and own a ?77 F150 that has been on the restoration path. I have been rebuilding all of the mechanicals before going to cosmetics. I drove it to work yesterday just to run her and on the way home my worst nightmare came true. Another driver pulled out in front of me leaving me no time to react so we impacted at 40MPH. You can imagine the damage to my right front. I had the right of way and the other driver was ticketed so there is no question about blame. My question is what are my rights for compensation regarding a restoration vehicle that did not yet have classic car insurance. Given the vehicles age the Blue book value will be nothing, so I am sure that the other drivers insurance company will want to total vehicle offer me $500 and walk away. All I want is to get it back into the same condition it was before the accident. Any advice? Anybody know what my legal rights are for such a case? Thanks for your help
