  1. I have a 1947 Buick Roadmaster for sale. You can view my info on this car at craigslist.com (Portland) under 1947 Buick Roadmaster and you can reply to me from the craigslist website. "Bucky" needs to go to a good home--it needs to be a home that would love him and finish the restoration.
  2. I definitely know nothing about cars and am still not sure now to post info on this website. I am still looking for someone who could give me info on what Tom's 47 is worth or if they could fill me in on how much more info I need to provide. My origional post was What is a 1947 Buick Roadmaster worth?
  3. Thank you for your condolences. Tom's BCA membership number was 38651 & he was an active member in the Portland Oregon chapter when he died. Tom passed away two years ago and the one thing I have not been able to deal with is parting with "Bucky the Buick". Tom had so many dreams for his car and he loved working on it. It is now time for Bucky to find a good home with someone who would enjoy it as much as he did and finish the restoration. Bucky is a four door and the previous owner gave him hundreds of dollars of extra parts & I know Tom bought hundreds of dollars of extra parts too. All of these parts will go with the car.
  4. My husband was restoring a 1947 Buick Roadmaster. He put new tires and wheels on the car, had all the glass replaced and had the brake system redone....then he was diagnosed with cancer and never had a chance to finish his car before he died. The car has no dents or dings. I know it does need the seats reupholstered and new headliners as well as new carpeting. Right now the car is primer gray. I don't know what size engine it has or anything else about it. I think he referred to it as having three on the tree. My husband was a member of BCA and I'm hoping a member could give me an idea of what I should ask for it.
