  1. Where have most people found is the best mounting position for an electric pump? I'm doing a '62 Olds Dynamic, which, of course, has the tank mounted in front of the trunk floor. I'm using a Holley Red elec. pump. Trying to keep the pump as close to the tank as I can, and as low as possible without interference from the suspension or the exhaust pipe. I'd like to mount it on the inside rear of the frame, behind the trunk floor, but am wondering about the effectiveness routing fuel lines to the back, then towards the front of the car. Has anyone run into this? <img src="http://forums.aaca.org/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />
  2. West - thanks for the reminder. I had the chance to talk to Mark of D & D at the CCCA meet in St. Louis. At that time, he was nice, but didn't seem interested in a graduate of McPherson. However, I was speaking to one of the instructors out here who said that Mark is indeed interested in a MAC grad. I will send my resume to them (just shot several to different shops in Ohio this week). Also, about the CCCA meet in January, I got to talk to you mom & dad there too! Nice folks! Steve - I'll give you a call tonight.
  3. Hi - I'm new here, but do know there are rules to forums, and hope I'm not breaking one asking this question: Who has a good restoration facility in or around Ohio? I am from Ohio, but am currently in Kansas, having just graduated with a degree in Automotive Restoration (not to be confused with the crash industry!). If anyone has any suggestions or leads, please let me know. If this post belongs in a different forum, let me know that too! * Steve Moskowitz - I spole with you briefly by email about getting some representation of the AACA at the McPherson C.A.R.S. club show this past May. Thanks for anyone who can give me any info. I will be a regular around here! Shane
