Does anybody know anything about the mounting of the cab on a 1942 Dodge pickup cab? There is suppose to be one bolt, on the left front, bolted down to the frame, then the other three bolts have springs and spacers between the cab and the frame. How much space is there between the body and frame? Is there a wood spacer there or rubber? My is all rotted out and I'm not sure what I need to replace it. I think your suppose to level the cab using the spacers, am I right?Thank you. Dave

Jim: Was there much HP difference in the 36 and what I should have in there. I'm just trying to decide if its worth looking for the right one or just trying to get that running and keep it. Dave

I broke my thermostat housing trying to get it off. While trying to find a new one I found out that the engine in my truck was the wrong one. It is a engine out of a car. The serial number on the engine is D2-I27722. That number was driving me nuts. Does anybody know which year and type vehicle that engine might have come out of? Thanks. Dave
