  1. Point taken. Does Apple Hydraulics have a web site?
  2. I assume that you're speaking from experience. May I assume that a 20-ton press isn't up to the task? I'd still like to know where to get the seals, etc. from. I've rebuilt nailheads, Dynaflows and modern (mid-60's) front ends. I don't want to bite off too much, but it would seem that, by comparison, this should be a straightforward task. Of course, 60+ years of crud, etc. on the various fasteners may change that view. But I'm guessing that the worst will be the R&R of the shocks in the first place, not the actual rebuilding. Am I even close to correct? Also, the seller has already stated (in his sales listing, no less!) that he needs to top the shocks off. So, if there is damage to be done, it has likely already occurred.
  3. Let's see here. These are the ones I send dues to: Mile High Chapter - Director Rocky Mountain Chapter Buick Driving Enthusiasts Buick Modified Division I also think I'm a member of the Four Corners Region, but I've never sent any dues (or been asked for them, for that matter!). 4. I have recently purchased (but not yet taken delivery on) a 1939 Century. The seller told me that the front shocks leak a bit, such that he has to top them off every few hundred miles. My question is: What does one use for fluid? A follow-on question is: How much work is it to rebuild them, and what's a good source for the seals, etc.?
