  1. Harry, One other thing I forgot to ask - What's AACA-HPOF? Remember, you have a couple of real green-horns here!
  2. Thanks for the advice Harry J. Does the owners manual provide much ifo in terms of maintenance for the car? The car is a two door. I have been really busy this week but may see if I can attach a couple of pictures this weekend. You are bringing up the issue we have been thinking about. The car is REALLY solid - Some surface type rust but nothing bad. Even at the points where you would expect problems like the area where the fenders meet the running boards are solid with no rust. The car will look nice with paint, some new chrome, and interior work but we think it might be a very good candidate for a complete restore. Unfortunately that would really be a challenge considering our experience levels. We also thought the gas tank would need to be drained and possibly flushed out a couple of times. Sound right? It looks like we need new plug wires, distrib cap, battery, a couple of tubes and tires. Any thoughts on where we could find the plug wires? I have seen most of the others on the net. Thanks again!
  3. A friend & I bought a 1927 Model 52 Chrysler at an auction over the weekend and we were looking for some information regarding the car. Do service/owner manuals exist? The car is very, very solid with no rust. It had been sitting in a barn for quite some time. Any suggestions on how we should start with this? We are both fairly new to this with little experience.
