  1. Actually it's almost finished. Just need a few more things that I can't seem to find like the seats, sill plates, sun visors, heater and vent control cables. Once I get those then we can start the interior and finsih it.
  2. These are the parts I need: Front and back seat, sun visors, sill plates, heater and vent control cables, steering wheel, pin to latch hood

  4. It's actually a 1954 Buick Century 2-dr convertible. Will '56 seats fit? I'm in Southern California
  5. Does anyone know if Cadillac or Olds seats will fit into a 1954 Buick Special? I can't seem to find any seats anywhere. If they will fit then I can try and find either of those model seats. Unless someone knows wehre I can find a front and back seat. Thanks.
  6. I think it has a 4-barrel carb, but I'll have to go and check. It has an open rear wheel area. And it has the word BUICK spelled out on the front of the hood.
  7. How can I tell the difference between a Special and a Century. I have a 1954 Buick Convertible. My Mother-in-Law says it's a Century and the restoration guy says it's a Special. Is there a code on the VIN that will tell you?
  8. I'm not sure if they were electric or not. The windows were hydraulic but we are making those electric. So maybe the seats were hydraulic too. I don't think it matters though. Either one would probably do. This is a list of what I need: - front and back seats. As long as frame is good and springs are relatively good. - steering wheel (black) if no cracks - shift lever if in good shape - wiper transmission for drivers side - wiper motor - body emblem for hood which spells out "BUICK" - tail light lenses and reflectors - both visors - interior door trim pieces
  9. My father in law has a 1954 Buick Special Convertible and everything is pretty much restored except the interior, top, and some chrome trim. We need a front and back seat. It doesn't need to be in good shape, we just need the frame to be in good shape. We also need a few trim pieces. Larry
