  1. I am hoping members can help me determine a fair price for this car. 1976 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham, 455 ci, cloth seats 60/40 bench seats, pw, pb, ps, pwr locks, white, blue interior, ac, tilt, cruise, good records from new, original sticker and manuals, no rust. 24K orginal miles, fully detailed. I am a potential buyer. My research indictaes that good collector quality 76 Cutlass's generally sell in the 7,500 - 9,500 range. Super orginality and a 455 engine add a reasonable premium to that ... say $12K? Am I off base?

  4. I am looking for a 1976 or 1977 2 door Cutlass in original or restored condition. I'd prefer a low miles original in #1 or #2 condition. No fixer-uppers or former rusty examples please. Will pay full value for the right car. Thanks
  5. Thanks... I agree that it shouldn't be a particularly complex restoration. I just know that most cars have one or two restoration shops that have built a reputation with a particular type of car. perhaps this isn't true with Olds but I know it is with other types of cars ..particularly with foriegn sports cars and the like. I'm in VA but am willing to ship the car anywhere in the US for the right shop. Thanks again!
  6. I am considering purchasing a 1976 Olds Cutlass fom a dealer in Canton, OH (I live in Washington DC) "North Cantor Motorcars". Does anyone know of these guys? Is there anyone here who might be willing to stop by and look at the car for me? I would be happy to pay you for your time and effort, I am very hesitatnt to buy from a dealer I don't know. Here's the link to the car. I appreciate any help or advice ! http://adcache.collectorcartraderonline.com/10/7/1/80093771.htm
  7. I am new to the Olds world but have owned several classic cars. I know most types of cars have a guru or expert in thier particular type of car. Can someone recommend such an expert to restore a 1977 Cutlass Supreme? It must be in the US. I am seeking a high end restoration. Thanks
