man.. now i'm really screwed up.I didn't get a title on the car just the bill of sales.it's a project car but to get a title i need to know what the state of Kentucky would consider a VIN to be .. the frame numbers or the engine numbers? I tried to talk to the DMV but they act like I'm nut when I ask them about anything to do with this car..help please

I thought that was just for the body like the paint and body style?.the buick does have that tag on it..is the VIN on that tag? my 46 chevy had a body tag on the firewall but the VIN is on the door post down by the kicker

can anyone tell me where the VIN is on a 40 buick super??
