i have a 53 new yorker with a 331 hemi when i obtianed the car it had a blown head gasket and two bad lifters,these lifters are pluger style lifters and very expensive since i have the engine opened i was woundering if anyone knew if i can convert all sixteen lifters into regular hyd.lifters with maybe an ajustable push rod or does the regular lifters for this particular engine just swap in. if any one could e-mail me at boumpani@hotmail.com with some advice and maybe a good place to purchase the lifters i need i would apperciate it very much
