Hi everybody.Hope everyone in AACA and the rest of you car &truck crazy fellow nuts are feeling good tonite.I need some info. on these f-series fords and im pretty sure im at the right place.Just wanted to thank the bro. welcoming us newbies.Ive loved old cars, trucks,and motorcycles since i was a pup.My dad was upper management at G.M. and he always drove a new car every year.I am 49 andremember all the cool cars he bought.The one that comes to mind first was the fire engine red 59 chevy coupe.Pretty machine!Then it was a black 60 biscayne,then the blue 62chev.ss conv.I had an older brother that always had a muscle car;pontiac with the 421,69 charger,and the baddest canary yellow roadrunner 440 6pack in flint,mi.the vehicle city.Home of the 1st vettes in 53,54.Im into the early motorcycles too.Ive got a 68 flh harley custom and just had to have that 100th anniv.black ultra classic.SWEEET!!Also had to have one of the last trans ams in 02.Its a black conv. with the WS6 package,ram air and about 350 tire smokin ponys.O.K enuff about me.Can someone set me straight on the interchangeability of 48-52 f1,f2,etc. fenders and grilles.My bro restoring the50 f1 says the grilles on 48-50fs are the same but not sure on fenders.he thinks the rr fenders are the same but the frts. are not.Did they have to compensate for bigger tires on the f2,f3etc. heavy duties or were them huge front fenders huge enuff? Are the 51&52s different from the 48-50s?Ive looked at so many ford trucks on the net they all look the same to me!!! Still looking for fenders but it would narrow the search if i knew the facts on what to look at.Any ford truck experts that could enlighten me would be greatly appreciated.P.S. HAPPY 50TH bday to the guy with the hilarious video clips; cracked me up.Dont feel bad about 50 cuz theres a bunch of us right behind you!!

  3. Thanks for the feedback.I will check arond on the repros but havent seen any yet.Saw some restored fenders at hershey for a 48 that were like new for 950 bucks but wont fit and too much for my budget.The search continues and thanks again.Hershey was awesome.1st time but not my last!!
  4. Need good front and rear fenders also grille for my resto.Anybody out there have some solid parts at a reasonable price? Went to hershey but slim pickings for my 1950 ford f1 pickup.My name is al and just joined yesterday so im a newbie at this.I live in mi. and want to say HOWDY to all you antiquers out there.THANKS!!
