  1. sintid58, I suspect that the dealership where you spied the car is the same one where Wayne has seen it. Thanks for getting the phone numbers, calling the dealer, and passing along the info. I'll give them a call today or tomorrow. Fred
  2. Thanks, Wayne! I wonder what the story is behind the car being moved from dealership to dealership??? I haven't been able to get any information out of the guys at Hooked on Classics at all. If you remember the name of the dealership where you saw it last week, would you let me know? I will try to give them a call. Fred
  3. loflite, are you sure the car you've seen is a hardtop (flattop)? If so, it's a different car than the one I'm aware of, because the car at Hooked on Classics is a sedan. Here's a link to the car at Hooked on Classics: CollectorCarTraderOnline. Fred
  4. loflite, I know of a salmon colored 4-door sedan at Hooked on Classics in Watertown. Is that the car you're referring to? Fred
  5. Bob, I might be, but I'm not really sure. Why don't you go ahead and send me the details and some photos of your car? (fkamla@yahoo.com) Thanks! Fred
  6. There was a black, 1959 Electra 225 4-door hardtop advertised and sold through Hemmings last April/May. I have contacted the seller, but he lost the phone number of the buyer. If anyone knows the buyer of this vehicle, please let me know. Thanks! Fred
  7. I spoke to the owner of the car in Livonia, MI. I couldn't get a straight answer out of him about anything! Fred
  8. I'm looking for a '59 Buick in good to very good condition, all original or a high quality restoration, a #2 or #3 car (depending on which scale you use), needing only minor cosmetic and/or mechanical work. In other words, I want a car that's ready to drive and enjoy. I would prefer a 4-door hardtop, then a 2-door hardtop, and finally either of the sedans. I don't have any preference as to colors or options. If you know of such a car for sale, please let me know. Thanks! Fred
  9. Does anyone know the owner of a red, 1959 Buick LeSabre four-door sedan near Urbana, IL that is for sale? If so, please respond to me. Thanks. Fred
