  1. Hmmm, Sounds like people here like this car! Big surprise! Anyway, seems like a pretty typical review for any low-production car. One major quark (brakes in this case) and hard to find parts. I find myself unintimdated by your collective pearls of wisdom. Also, this car meets both my parents desires and mine. They want HEAVY and air bags. I want little sports car that's unique. This appears to be both, at least on the outside, for a price I can afford. Performance be damned, I'm not autocrossing or anything! As long as it's got enough pep to get me to the speed limit I should be A-OK. Thanks for your help people, and I'll have to remember the "hold the door" tactic. Seems old fashioned, but, we shall see! Should I drop the electric project, I'm all over this kinda car. Price tips were helpful too. Also, to check out the 'ol electric, go to EVProject.com. Haven't updated in a long time, but there's plenty there to oogle! -Jeff
  2. Hey, Currently I'm a 17 y/o highschool student in rural-ish MA. I'm converting a Porsche 924 to electric power, but vaguely considering selling it off and buying a normal gas car. (Still undecided, I do love my Porsche...) As you can tell from the Porsche project, practicality isn't my main concern...but I'd still like to hear some Reatta expereinces with maintainance costs, fuel economy, emissions, and female attractibility. There's one near to me for 4,000$ used at a dealer in gorgeous red, 140,000 miles, 1990, seems to be pretty sweet. I'm not afraid to jump in and do some DIY repairs, but I hear parts costs can kill on these? Thanks for any help or advice you guys can supply! This would be my first running automobile! Post-Porsche-sale budget would be 5,000-6,000ish total, not accounting for insurance or anything. Your thoughts are apprechiated! -Jeff
