  1. I aquired a 455 engine that supposidly came out of a 1970 GS455 but I can't find ANY numbers to verify the year. According to the guy that I bought it from, the engine had been rebuilt but he couldnt recall exactly what type of work was done on the engine. Could the numbers have been machined off if the blocked had been decked/milled and are there any other clues I can look for to help identify the engine?
  2. I noticed on the Stage 1 T/A aluminum intake manifold for the 350, the rear coolant passageways are blocked off. There are port passageways in the heads so why is the manifold designed not to allow coolant to flow through? I dunno. Any info on this manifold would be helpful. Oh yeah, the intake has the name "Tom Aszewski" cast to the rear of where the carb sits and the engine is a 1970 350 with the SB heads.
