I have a 1930 Plymouth sedan and am interested in the differences between the 1929 and 1930 Plymouth engines. I am aware of the water-pump, fuel-pump, and distributor differences. However, will a timing gear cover that has a side-mounted generator bracket fit on a thermal-cooling cylinder block? It appears that the cover mounting holes are the same, but are there any other differences that I should be aware of? Thanks for any information. Oscar Tate, MARoadster@aol.com
