OK, I've been biten by the vintage Lincoln bug. Having not restored a car since my teenage and early twenty years. (1969 SS Camaro , 1979 CJ) Both off frame ground up restorations. I did what most young adults do .. get married, start raising a family, hold down a respectable job. Unfortunately, my father in-law and I ventured to a car show and I got car fever. I'm taken by the following vintage of lincoln ..but I'm left in a time crunch as to what the value of this car actually is? I take it is a fairly common practice to have replaced the V12 powertrain with a Cadillac motor? Other than the powertrain ( a rather big other ) and some floorboard work this car looks to be very restorable. Could I get some opinions on this car and the powertrain? Worth it to take it back to V12 even if not orignal? I'm from the train of thought that the only motor that belongs in a car was the one that came with it.
