Covers LeBaron, Diplomat and Caravelle. 80 page pocket book with all the body designations, sales/options codes, accessory groups, trim codes, door trim and seat option illustrations. That's just the first 28 pages. Headlining codes, molding drawings, suspension alighment, bulkhead connector block cavity uses. Which car get what steering wheel and wheel covers (illustrated). Inquire by email to lallin@juno.com Also, see my eBay auction (Ends Oct-22-05 08:00:34 PDT) for '51-'52 Chevrolet Hood Ornament, Chrome (not Gold) Gazelle only, no base. Good, used part, number 3695865, which may also be for '49 and '50. A few blemishes, but quite presentable.
  3. Thanks for the identification. I have no idea how this came into my father's parts bin - he was a Chrysler mechanic from the time he left the Army in 1945 until he retired in '86. Other than a few Divco trucks owned by a friend of his, I don't recall ever seeing him work on anything but Chrysler products. <div class="ubbcode-block"><div class="ubbcode-header">Quote:</div><div class="ubbcode-body">That's an accessory gazelle hood ornament for Chevrolets from the very early-1950s. They had a gold anodized version of it that I believe was sold officially under the trade name Golden Gazelle. I have a friend with one on his 1951 Chevrolet, and he knows enough about the history of the car to feel certain that it came with it. JON </div></div>
  4. Continuing to clean out the basement of my father's house. Before his death, he was a Chrysler mechanic for over 40 years and accumulated a lot of parts, new, used, rebuilt, you name it. I came across what looks like a Dodge Ram hood ornament, with a part number of 3695865. I didn't think Dodge used a ram hood ornament during the time period this part appears to come from. Any information on what this might be? Pictures at: http://tinyurl.com/by26a or http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/lallin/album?.dir=/4740&.src=ph&.tok=phR.axDBkhY8yFwV Thanks
  5. I have about a dozen reconditioned (rebuilt) starter drives that were purchased in the 80s. My father used several of these to rebuild MOPAR starters and found they worked just fine. He must have gotten a bargain and bought far more than he could use before he passed away, hence the ones that remain. I will gladly give any or all of them to anyone who will pay the postage. If interested, send me your address and I'll calculate the postage. Please inquire by email to lallin<at>aol<dot>com.
  6. #9134 Carter TQ known to fit '78 360CID, possibly others. Acceleration pump wasn't working properly when this was removed from car in '80s; will require rebuild or at least a pump. $15 plus actual shipping. Inquiries by email to lallin@juno.com

  8. I have at least one of each 50(part #3874696), 60 (#4091568) and 100 (no part no tag on it, but 100 amp stamped on it) amp Mopar alternators from the late-70s and early 80s. All were rebuilt in the mid-to-late 80s, tested and put on the shelf. The $15 for 50 amp, $20 for 60 amp, $75 for 100 amp, plus shipping or pickup in St. Louis MO. Inquire by email to lallin@juno.com
  9. I have for sale, four (4) NOS Holley chokes, stamped 8540 40 These are known to be correct for '79 Chrysler Corp cars equipped with 360CID w/2bbl carb. 10. I have a NOS A/C, heat, defrost, fan ATC control module but don't know what models and years it will fit; based upon part number, i'd guess late '70s Lebaron, Diplomat, etc. Anyone know for sure what it will fit? My father was a retired, 40 year, Chrysler mechanic. When passed away, it became my job to identify and sell off his stock-pile of NOS and good, used parts. I'm down to just a few that I can't readily identify. Thanks for any help you may be able to offer.
