Looking for Porcelainizing Vender?
imported_foxfireray replied to imported_foxfireray's topic in Packard
Packard32, Thanks for the link. It does raise some interesting observations/questions that I will need to consider. -
Happy New Year, I am looking for a vender to redo the porcelain on the intake and exhaust manifolds for my 1931 840 Motor. I am in the northeast. Any one have suggestions for someone who can do High quality work? Thanks Ray

I am preserving an original 1931 840 Sport Phaeton that was probably repainted in the fifty's and am wondering what the rear end ratio is from the factory. If any one knows I would greatly appreciate the answer. Thanks Ray

Any one know of a source for Reproduction Aluminum Sills for a 31 840 Packard? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Ray

Thought that the forum would appreciate seeing a 443 5 passenger Phaeton that I recently took out of very long term storage. I am the second owner. The car was owned by a gentleman in the town next to me before it was stored away. He had purchased it from the Packard Dealer in Hartford Connecticut. The original registration, insurance booklets and more where in the side door pockets along with the side curtins. See the attached pictures. I will be preserving this Packard. The car is virtually totally original, with factory paint, interior, top and mechanicals. I have cleaned out the fuel system, rebuilt the vacuum tank and now have the car running perfectly. Follow up to earlier comments/questions. No this is not the one the McGee's used to own. This Columbia has it's own Designed OEM Motor. It is not the later Wisconson Engine that was used starting in 1911 or so. Thanks for the assistance, I do appreciate it. I will try to contact the Gilmore Museum and see if the motor is similar. Ray
