  4. To W/O 85-4: thank you for the reply. I guess you missinterpreted my question. I know the color of the body, which is bottom half blue and the rest is black. What I am loking is for the color of the "engine" and "wheels rims". the color orange that you refer is the old "red lead paint" that was used as a primer agaainst rust.
  5. After removing years of grease and dirt im some areas was some paint which appear to be some kind of light green, if any body know the color, it is a present paint available? On the rims I have no clue. An old color picture (an artist rendering)from The Ladies Home Journal of April 1923 shows a white color and could be silver. Will like to communicate with owners of the subject car. My e-mail is euskal@frontier.net

  9. Thank you 56 rodmaster, also to stude 8 and old crabby members for the suggestions. The radiator which is original, the core was never painted, there is not a speck of paint, only the tanks were painted black, to confirm The Ladies Home Journal of April 1923 shows a color picture (not a photo)with the radiator on a white/light grey color. The whole core before the top and botton tanks were soldered as well as the side protection chanels indicates that it was tined, additionally there are some minute drops of the tin material in some of the fins probably due to the fact that the core was sumerged in a bath of tin,the fins are not britle since the tin has protected the whole. I believe that the use of a detergent with a soft round brush may be the best answer. I have given this long explanation with the intention of helpping others. Hope that others will give their expirience.
