I?m looking to increase the rear-end gear ratio in my 72 cutlass. The mechanic that does most of the work to my car says to do that would be a complete overhaul, estimated cost 1500.00. Can?t I just change the ring and pinion?

I want to add power door lock to my 72, I found a universal system on Ebay. And I don?t have any other power to the doors, such as windows. So my question is, were should I make this connection from the doors to the body as would be for the power windows? Has anyone done this, and any suggestions?

Just bought a 72 Cutlass convertible, and trying to hunt down some electrical problem (Dash lights). I plan to buy a shop manual (is someone know of a source please email me) as I?ve started this project I need help in removing the dash, all the screws I can see are removed know what.
