  1. Well, now I did it.  Made plans to attend the 2016 Packard National Meet with the family and my car is not done because I need some parts to finish it. The most critical parts I need are a set of nice relatively rust free running boards-both sides and the passenger side tail light bucket and stand for a 1937 Packard 120.  I could use a few other parts but these are more or less needed to have a presentable show car.  If you have these parts or know where I can get them for a fair price, please call me.  My numbers are 920-731-8519 or 920-851-7062.

    Thanks!

P.S.  Also looking flying lady for a hood ornament for a 1933 Buick Series 60 and nice shiny front and rear bumpers.

  2. I am looking to buy a nice set of 1937 Packard 120 running boards (with or without rubber mat on them).  35 and 36 Packard 120 may also work.  Also need the passenger side tail light bucket, and door handles for rumble seat and trunk lid.  Please contact me at pint4@new.rr.com or 920-731-8519 or 920-851-7062.  Thanks!!!

  3. Does anyone know if there are wing nuts sold by anyone that would work for a 1935 Buick Series 40 car?  Bob's sell wing nuts for the "Big Series" but I didn't see anything for the 40 Series.  Also wondering if anyone would  know the thread size for the nuts the holds on the spark plug cover?  Maybe I can source wing nuts locally.

    Thanks.

  4. I have a 1935 Buick with 30,000 miles and original straight 8 engine.  What are the best modern oils formulated for vintage cars like mine?  Have others used synthetic oil in their vintage Buicks?  Any problems?  What weight oil, straight?... multi-viscosity?  I am told high Zinc content and low detergent is critical.

    Thanks!

  5. Checked their websites and didn't see any 17" radials for vintage cars. It is possible no one makes them yet. Definitely saw 15" and 16" tires that had vintage profiles and were radials. Maybe I am looking for something not yet developed. May be less of a market for 17" radial tires with a vintage look or there may be a technical reason they can't do it. Hopefully there is a tire expert who has the answer.
