Rider- Prior to my message to the forum,I've tried poking/probing/wiggling in an attempt to break loose the washer & spring inside the link. I may try to loosen it up @ the idler arm side, (recently replaced)Maybe an approach from the other side will "scare" it loose! PalBuick- I've been here before, under another userid, which I didn't remember & lost. Isn't gettin' old fun? Joan sez HI

Try Clark's Corvairs. He sells very nice interior kits for '63-65 Rivs. he MAY sell you only the material.

I'm attempting to remove the steer. gear(PS)pitman arm from the center link, I've loosened/removed the threaded plug from the center link, usually the arm comes right out. Not this time. It's loose, but WILL NOT seperate from the center link. What am I doing wrong, or not doing? Thx Jerry
