this last thread is correct. I am looking for the bumper strips, without guards, that go the length of the front bumper and are on the front of it. They come with bolts that go through the bumper and are nutted on the other side. One other curious fact. I bought a bumper off ebay that was supposed to fit in place of the origional. All holes match up, except for the bolt holes that the bumper strips go through. The bumper itself is the same... tx again for all the help so far John

After taking off the timing chain cover of my 455, noticed two things; one tooth half broken off on camshaft gear; slack in the timing chain itself; can anyone tell me how much slack is tolerable on the chain? whether a half broken off tooth, only one, is acceptable, or should I get new gears? the engine is origional, from a 73 centurion. seems to be alot of slack in the chain, how measure? tx in advance for help John

What is involved in taking off the timing cover from a 455 off. Do you have to remove the oil pan? Step by step would be great! How about putting it back on, what will have to be reinserted before the cover goes back on? tx in advance, John
