For Sale, old 322 CID block with crankshaft (no heads or other stuff) that has been stored in my garage for years. I picked this up in the late '80's as a possible spare from a wrecking yard. It was pretty rusty when I got it, but has been in plastic, inside since then. For some reason, I think that this is from a '56. Also, I think that I checked the rod journals and one had been turned, which I guess was a common practice in the 50'. I have a complete, in good operating condition, bow frame assy for a 1953 ( and possibly other earlier years)Olds. This frame assy, was with an old Buick I bought years ago. It is the complete assy from header bow back and is all assembled. It has been stored in my garage, out of the elements. The latch assy works smoothly and all bows fold as they should. This top assy does need to be rechromed and painted for show use. Pictures are avaliable on request. I have an 1943, M5 military generator with a hercules engine. The origional dist. was aparently replaced with a Henry J (peanut) dist. at some point in it's lifetime. I am trying to locate a set of points, condensor, etc. for this unit. It is an Auto-Lite dist. #1GW4180b(or 8)X. The cap is marked GB1241 and the rotor is GB1239. This is a 1953 Buick Super 2 door hardtop, Model 56r. This is an older home restoration, and restored to drive. This car has been a great source of pleasure to me for 10 + years, but I am ready to move on. All work was done on this car by myself, between 1989 and 1994, with the exception of the interior ( fresh in 2000). Engine and transmission overhaul (322 v-8/ Dynaflow). Floor repair, Brakes all around, all front end bushings and kingpins. Bodywork(down to metal)and Paint (nitro lacquer), to factory colors (Imperial Blue Metallic over Jordon Grey). The only non factory modifications are, new radiator, battery tray and battery, and underdash stereo w/6" and 6x9" speakers. This car has wide white tires, 6.70x15, on '53 Skylark wire wheels (need chrome). Lots of extra parts are included. This car needs chrome work , front and rear and flat glass. Also could use a new paint job. This is a great driving, dependable car that is lots of fun. I have a complete 1953 Olds convertible bow frame assembly for sale. Latch assembly works fine, and this frame folds easily. I got this frame with a 1953 Buick, some years ago and just stored it(inside). I doubt that there are many of these left in the yards, and I know they arent making any more, so someone is bound to need it. HELP ! I have a great 1984 Olds 88. This car still has only 41,000 miles. I only have one problem, The wipers seem to have a mind of thier own. They dont want to start immedately when the switch is activated and when they do come on, they dont want to go off. this problem seems to be worse when the car has just been started and not run along time. After driving for awhile they usualy work fine. Also, during the time they dont want to shut off, I can stop and completely shut the car down, then restart and they will shut off.
