This car is a time capsule waiting for a new home and a new owner who will enjoy it for years.The owner was a veterinarian not a car guy but he loved the looks of this 26 Chevy. The Chevy was stored in its own garage and there it sat for over 15 years after restoration but still runs,drives and stops just like it did when he purchased it. This model also has a roll down windshield. The car has all mechanicals restored to include drivetrain, Brakes, Suspension, Front end, Steering, Transmission, Clutch have all been restored and are in excellent condition. Originaal mohair interior showing some wear. The radiator is custom built to improve the cooling and was just installed this past March. Everything is fresh and in very good to excellent condition Paint has scratches alongside some of fenders and some scratches on cowl from hood. No rust, Let me say that again NO RUST! The Body is straight. Engine The motor is fresh rebuild. Completely gone through. Carburetor rebuilt, Ignition new points condenser, rotor and cap. Charging system is new, Good oil pressure and no overheating issues.Electric fuel pump added at the fuel tank with a pressure regulator. Exhaust is in excellent shape, Brakes are all new and stop very well, the emergency brake is fully operational and works great, There is no play in the pedals and linkages are all tight adjusted as they should be. Very roadworthy. The Sedan drives excellent with no wondering or play in the steering, Suspension works well with all grease fitting in working order. When brakes are applied the car comes to a stop and doesn’t pull just stops straight. Yes you can lock the wheels up Tires and Rims Tires have 90% of the tread. At some time these have been replaced. Rims have been balanced and painted with wood spokes in near new condition. No rot or wood spoke issues.
