Weird, Everything thing I've researched says it should be a C, I've got a 67 908 B. Vin tag indicates it has a " black diamond" 264, used from 49 to 59. Strange. My vin tag was also screwed on and I riveted it . Wisconsin Historical Society website has some interesting info on their site, in case you weren't aware.
