  1. Looking for a resource to get a replacement oil pan for my 1929 Chevrolet Coupe. I was told that the engine has been replaced with a 1930 straight 6. Thanks for the help.
  2. Dave, Thanks for the response. Anything else I need to be concerned with on the engine side whenever I take the pan off? Some of the sites that I looked at mentioned the troughs. The pan had new gaskets put on about 8 years ago but don't know if they were actually put on correctly. I just got the car back from with the outside being restored. They ran the engine but at length. I saw oil dripping from the back of the pan on the transmission side and think that the cork may have moved. Thanks for all of your help and input.
  3. I have a 1929 Chevrolet Coupe and have an oil leak that I believe is coming around the oil pan. I have a new gasket set am looking for guidance on making sure that I put back on appropriately. Is there anything else that I need to be concerned with when replacing gasket. I have looked in my Chevrolet repair manual and tried looking up on internet. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
